Interestingly, CoQ10 augmented rosuvastatin's effect in ameliorating MetS, via exerting synergistic modulatory effects on oxidative stress and inflammation. Rosuvastatin or CoQ10 also alleviated the impairment of liver function that was induced by HF-HFD.
